About Me!
Welcome to Flower's Pixels....My online home.... My name is Leah & I am 31 years old....I was born in NSW Australia & absolutely love to live in the little country town of Willow tree, it is my safe haven & comfort zone!! he he he I have been pixelling for a little while now, maybe 2 years or so.....I didn't even have a clue about computers until I had a severe car accident in 2003....a truck was travelling on the wrong side of the road & I was coming up over the top of the hill as the truck was overtaking another truck, so when I got to the top of the hill, not being able to see the trucks prior, I was faced with 2 trucks side by side & no where for my car to go....my car hit the truck in front of me & the truck rolled, spinning my car out of control & over a ledge....As you can see, I had an angel watching over me that day, as I am SUPER lucky to have survived such a horrific accident. As you could guess, I didn't come out of the accident unmarked.....but I am able to walk & that I am grateful for!! It's weird how something like this car accident, changes the way you think & you realise that it's the little things in life that count & mean the most to us, because without them, we are miserable, walking just happens to be one of those things I think..... Anyway, since my accident I have taught myself how to use a computer & slowly, little by little, taught myself how to use PSP & pixel....I absolutely fell in love with it & it has been a huge part of my recovery & a huge part of me since I have been doing it....It's a passion you could say..... I love to spend time with my wonderful partner Steve....I have been so lucky to have him in my life for the past 6 & 1/2 years, we are soul mates & love to be together no matter what it is we are doing.....Steve & I share a love of animals, especially dogs, we have 10 dogs between us & they are our everything!! he he he My Dog that I take everywhere with me, is an American Bulldog & was also in my car accident when he was only 6 months old....it was lucky he wasn't too big & very flexible, he came out of the accident unconcious, but unscathed....which was a huge blessing!! It was the first thing I asked for when I become concious, where is my dog & is he ok?? he he eh He is my mate, he is my friend.....we've been through alot together.... I have a wonderful Mum & Dad who have supported me through all my ups & downs.....Mum has been there every step of the way with my recovery, she is my best friend as well as my Mum....she is such a special person in my life & I love her with all my being..... I have a great brother & sister inlaw....whom had twin boys 2 years ago, who are just the most precious little things....I adore them so very much, they also mean the world to me.....I wish I could spend every moment just watching them learn & discover the world...... I am also lucky enough to have some wonderful friends in my life.....Michelle has been my saviour!! he he he She wipes my tears away all the time & replaces them with hugs.....I have been so lucky to find someone as wonderful as she is.... Jen is always going to be in my heart, I wish I could see her more often, but we always know we are there for one another....and someone else who has touched my heart & been there for me lately is Heidi....she is so sweet....he he he We have become friends over the passed year & we have become quite close.... Then there are my online buddies!! And I have no idea where I would be without some of them, with their great advice & support......Tracy is like the sister I wish I always had & Mary is like an adopted mother via the internet!! ha ha ha She has taught me ALOT about this world of pixels & websites!! he he he I would be lost without you both!! Well I think that has covered basically everything in my life..... ha ha ha Thanks so very much for being interested in me enough to want to read about me.... Biggest of hugs Leah
